"Across The Universe"
If you love great cinematography, choreography, and Beatle's music, then go out and snag a copy of Julie Taymor's visual take on the 60's; "Across The Universe". I never get tired of watching it. With guest stars Eddie Izzard, Bono, Joe Cocker, and a host of others, It truly recreates the "Magical Mystery Tour" that was the late 60's.
"A Sense Of The World", "Tent Of Miracles", "The Memoirs Of A Beautiful Boy",
"Aphrodite-A Memoir", To Kill A Mockingbird", "Thank You For Smoking", Tent Of Miracles", "Exile In Guyville", "Misadventures In The (213)", "Our Endangered Values", anything by Colette, "Little Green Men", "A Pattern Language",
Pretty much anything by Laurie Colwin, Complete Works of William Shakespeare, "Shantaram", " The Name of the Wind", anything by M.F.K. Fisher, "Dumbfounded" by Matt Rothschild, and just recently "Havana Nocturne", "Loot", & "Dark Water"
Great Movies!
The Fall, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Across The Universe, Jean de Fleurette, Manon of the Spring, Aeon Flux, Juno, Paris Je T'aime, Amalie, Big Eden, Crash, Bride & Prejudice, Big Night, Usual Suspects,
You have Across The Universe.....I have Dirty Dancing....minus Joe Cocker....
